如果因為硬碟壞軌或filesystem error需要克隆(複製)硬碟：
有客戶建議幾款軟體，相關下載及操作請上網搜尋

4、Thecus NAS OS5 X64機型 有內建硬碟複製功能
磁碟複製(Disk Clone)完成後，請將NAS開放於網路上，以便提供 Thecus 技術人員進行連線及修復，這部份色卡司是不收費的

如果是要把硬碟寄到色卡司，由色卡司進行硬碟複製及陣列修復則是屬於資料救援。
資料救援費用如下:
- 3 HDD(含以下)：檢測費 NT 6000，資料救援費 NT 15000。
- 4~6 HDD： 檢測費 NT 12000，資料救援費 NT 30000。
- 7 HDD(含以上)：檢測費 NT 18000，資料救援費 NT 45000。
如果資料順利救回，會收取 資料救援費用。
如果無法救回資料，則會收取 檢測費用。
修復時間可能為數天到數星期不等，依硬碟數量及損壞情況而定。
如果急需取回資料，建議攜原本的硬碟至資料救援公司做資料救援。
如果沒那麼迫切取回數據，建議可以先試以上幾個軟體做複製 (建議可以拿2個隨身碟來做測試)。

How to disable & enable HA
How to disable & enable HA
If went to change something as like network configuration, it is need pasue/disable HA model first, and following steps for your reference:
How to disable HA:
Login HA "ACTIVE" NAS -> HA page -> DISABLE -> choose DISABLE both NAS -> both NAS would auto reboot.
How to enable HA:
Login "both" HA NAS at same time as possible -> HA page -> ENABLE -> would asking "HA RECOVERY" choose "NO"! -> both NAS would auto reboot into HA mode.

How much screws for 3.5" HDD? 4 or 6?
The 3.5" HDD default design for 4 screws, due certain HDD need extra inner space for more disk platter and move 2 tradition screw holes location to the edge, thus some new HDD tray have this new screw holes only, for compatibility some new HDD & tray place tradition & new screw holes both.

Linking and Accessing OneDrive folders on OS5 OS7
A. Install OneDrive App:
1. Login as the admin. Go to [ App Center ] and search "onedrive".
2. Click the app icon and choose "Install".
3. After installing the app, pick "Allow user to use this module".
4. Make sure a user is created on the system.
B. Linking the App to Personal Account:
1. Logout and login as a normal user, not admin.
2. Go to [ App Center ] and click [ Installed ] under [ Local App Status ] tab. Click "Enter App Page"
3. You will be directed to the app page. Click "Activate".
4. The authorization page will pop up. Enter your account credentials to link the app and your account.
5. The status will become "Activated" on the app page upon success.
C. Accessing OneDrive folders via:
a. File Center of OS7: Click [ File Center ] in the NAS web UI and navigate to /HOME/username/onedrive.
b. SMB/File Explorer on Windows: Open File Explorer on Windows and enter "\\NAS-IP\home\onedrive" in the URL with account credentials.
c. FTP: The path is "/HOME/username/onedrive".

1. Prepare an USB Flash in FAT 32 format, non-bootable.
2. Download & unzip follwoing files & folder onto USB flash.

Microsoft have no plan for Windows Storage Server 2016 Essentials (ex: W2000~W5810).
But Windows Storage Server 2016 will available for rack mount Windows series NAS (W8900 or above model), and please note the Microsoft Operation System license needs to be purchased separately.
